Mozart Symphony No 41 “Jupiter”
We start the TSO symphonic season in grand style with Mozart’s greatest symphony, “The Jupiter!” Although a promoter came up with the nickname after Mozart’s death, it is an apt description of Mozart’s final symphony. We are delighted to be welcoming Maestro Carolyn Watson to the TSO podium to lead this thrilling and delightful program which also features TSO Principal Trombone, Thomas Riccobono, in a baroque/classical era rarity, the Trombone Concerto of Viennese composer Wagenseil. Colorful and virtuosic music by the ever-popular Rossini and Ravel round out the program.
Students and First-Time Attendees are eligible to receive 50% off single ticket purchases. Contact the Box Office at info@traversesymphony.org | 231.947.7120 for more information.
