Elizabeth Suminski

Cello

Elizabeth Suminski began studying cello at the age of five as a Suzuki student with Marilyn Kessler. She continued her studies with Louis Potter, and went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts in cello performance at the University of Notre Dame, under the tutelage of Karen Buranskas. She has performed as a soloist with the Notre Dame Chamber Orchestra, the Jackson Symphony and the Alma College Symphony, and has been a member of the Greater Lansing Symphony Orchestra, the West Shore Symphony, and South Bend Symphony. Ms. Suminski went on to pursue her medical degree at Michigan State University, and is now a practicing emergency physician.  She has three children who are studying violin, piano and cello.
