The majority of Traverse Symphony Orchestra concerts take place at Corson Auditorium, which is located on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts, approximately ten miles South of Traverse City. Follow US 31 South to Chums Corners and then West to South M-137 (left at the second stoplight after Chums Corners). It seats about 950 people.
Lars Hockstad Auditorium
Lars Hockstad Auditorium seats about 805 people and is located in the historic Traverse City Central Grade School about three blocks west of Union Street in between 7th and 8th Streets (several blocks due west of the Old Town Parking Deck). Constructed in 1922, Lars Hockstad underwent an extensive renovation several years ago that featured new, comfortable seats and serves as a venue for the Traverse City Film Festival during the summer months.
City Opera House
Free Civic String Ensemble concerts and free family concerts take place at the historic City Opera House, which is located in downtown Traverse City near the corner of Front and Union Streets.
