Support

Every note tells a story. From the 4-year-old Suzuki student drawing her bow across the violin strings for the first time, to the retired teacher continuing the joy of making music in a Civic ensemble, or the thrill of being in the audience when a piano concerto is performed to an enthusiastic standing ovation—each and every experience we offer is important in the “story” of someone in our community. And we couldn’t do it without your support!

Community support from our patrons and friends is foundational to enabling the Traverse Symphony Orchestra to continue to impact children and adults through the gift of music. We need your help!

Ways you can support the TSO:

  • Make a tax-deductible gift by sending a check or giving online. Additionally, you can choose to be a sustaining donor and have a recurring monthly gift automatically deducted!
  • Consider a tax-free end of year IRA distribution in support of the work of the TSO, our musicians, and educators.
  • Ensure a strong future for the TSO by creating an estate gift, trust, or other planned giving vehicle. This can have significant tax advantages, and leave a positive impact on the cultural excellence of our community for generations. Contact Becky Childs to discuss at 231-947-7120.

Check out our plans for the new Community Music School, scheduled to open early 2024!
