Mary Miller

Violin

Born in Frankfort, Michigan, Mary Miller moved to the Kalamazoo area as a child where she began her violin studies. She performed with the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra for 10 years and was concertmaster for their first European tour as well as attending the National Music Camp at Interlochen.

Ms. Miller received her Bachelor degree from Western University and her Master from Oakland University both in Music Education. She has played with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra (MN) and the Traverse Symphony Orchestra for many years.

After being Director of Orchestras in the Ludington Public Schools for 16 years, and teaching public schools music for all grades for a total of 30 years, Ms. Miller has gone into local community government life, serving as a Trustee for Inland Township (Benzie County), where she now resides.

Mary Miller
